Workshop Description
Finally, a practical training service that gives you "hands-on" practice while you learn trade skills.
Workshop includes:Security Officer Training Parts 1 and 2
This training session has been structured to assist Security Officers and Management to perform their jobs at optimum levels. The workshop will focus on participants learning how to develop and improve their interactive cognitive forensic interviewing and writing skills. Security Officers and Security Managers are either called to an incident, or through no fault of their own, they become part of the incident before they can use their skills to prevent or defuse a crisis situation (i.e. handling suspicious or unruly people or working with upset and innocent bystanders.). What officers observe and experience with such incidents requires a written report. When there is an injury or a criminal act involved, the written report will be used in court and will require the security officer or manager to testify. Knowing how to present your report for testimony is a critical part of being a security professional.
To enhance the learning experience, each participant will receive a workbook to use during the workshop which will be theirs to keep for future reference. TSA certificates will be presented to everyone who attends.
Minimum Enrollment Policy and Disclaimer
A minimum number of participants must be signed up in order to run any workshop (typically 15).
If minimum enrollment is not met, Training Services Association retains the right to cancel the workshop. If this happens, all enrollees will receive a 100% refund.
