This TSA  workshop  is  designed  for:

  • Custodial Maintenance staff
  • Housekeepers and their Supervisors
  • Groundskeepers
  • Entry level Maintenance personnel

After many years of presenting our Basic Custodial Maintenance Training, TSA has determined that an in-depth workshop covering chemical-mixing and safety would be extremely beneficial for custodians and housekeepers who work in the field.  This workshop will cover various types of cleaning chemicals and their purposes.  It will focus on the processes of mixing and using these chemicals – dilution levels, disinfection levels, and germ control.  Because safety is so important in protecting custodians and housekeepers, emphasis at this workshop will be aimed at personal safety and the proper use of the products and equipment that custodians and housekeepers use on a daily basis.

The workshop will offer hands-on opportunities to learn about chemicals and safety under the direct supervision of our knowledgeable workshop leader. Workshop participants will receive a detailed workbook to use during the training, which will be theirs to keep for future reference on the job.  TSA certificates will be presented to all who attend this training.
