What is the best way to contact you?

The best way to contact us is via email. We monitor our email regularly and often.

I see that TSA has an updated website, what can I expect?

Training Service Association is excited to announce the launch of our updated website www.trainingservicesassoc.com.  The site has been totally redesigned to be more user-friendly, with a more focused structure for easier navigation and enhanced information.

Here are just a few highlights of the new website:

  • You can now register for workshops directly from the TSA website!
  • The navigation bar at the top and bottom of each page will direct you to any information you need.
  • ​New SEARCH to find what you are looking for.

 

  • Workshop Descriptions
    • Lists of all the workshops that we offer, including the onsite workshops that we present.
    • Click on a drop-down menu and pick a workshop. You can read about the workshop and see the agenda.
    • If the workshop is already scheduled for this year, you can select the location(s) and date(s) (found in the shaded boxes at the bottom of the page) that link directly to a registration form. Or you can contact us with any questions about that workshop.
    • You can use the registration form to register online, and we will send you an email letting you know we received your information and have registered you for the workshop.

 

  • Workshop Calendar
    • View the calendar of the workshops that we will be presenting throughout the year.
    • View in a list, or change the view to a grid calendar
    • You can now browse through the full year, so you can get your training approvals started ahead of time.

 

  • Request Workshop Information 
    • If you need more information about particular workshops, just click the boxes next to the workshops you are interested in, and fill out the form at the very bottom of the page. We will email you the workshop flyers in PDF format.

Do you ever put workshops on in my area of the country?

TSA will present any of its workshops anywhere in the country that there is enough interest.  Contact us for details.

How can I pay for registration fees?

Our preferred method of payment is to mail us a check, even if it will not reach us before the workshop begins.  However, we can process Visa or MasterCard payments via telephone. (Sorry, we cannot accept American Express.)  We also accept purchase orders and government training forms.  If your organization pays via direct deposit, we are setup to accept those payments.  Contact us for details.

Do you accept credit cards?

Yes. Our preferred method of payment is to mail us a check, even if it will not reach us before the workshop begins. However, we can process Visa or MasterCard payments via telephone. Sorry, we cannot accept American Express.

Do you accept purchase orders?

Yes. We accept purchase orders and government training forms.

Can I pay at the workshop?

Yes, if it is a ‘last minute’ situation.  We do not want to receive cash at any workshop. Our preferred method of payment is to mail us a check, even if it will not reach us before the workshop begins.

Workshop leaders cannot process credit cards. We can process Visa or MasterCard payments via telephone from our office. Sorry, we cannot accept American Express.

When should I make flight arrangements?

We highly recommend that you wait to make non-refundable flights until you receive an official letter/email from us confirming that the workshop will be held. We will send that when we have received sufficient registrations to guarantee that we can hold the workshop.

When there are multiple parts to a workshop (Parts 1 & 2, or Beginning / Advanced) do I have to attend them in order?

No.  Most of our workshops are designed to be independent, and thus can be attended in any order.

*PLEASE NOTE:  Hands-on Electrical & Plumbing Maintenance – Part 2 DOES require the basic skills taught in Hands-on Electrical & Plumbing Maintenance – Part 1.  For consistency of training we would prefer that you attend Part 1 immediately before Part 2.

Will I receive any professional accreditation upon completion of any workshop?

We provide certificates of participation, including training hours, to all workshop participants. We do not provide professional certifications or qualifications.

Do I have to make my own hotel reservations when I’ve registered for a workshop?

Yes, you need to contact the hotel directly to make your sleeping room reservations.  In most cases we have made arrangements with the hotel for a reduced room rate for our customers.  This information is printed below the registration form on our flyers.  Be sure to tell the hotel when you make your reservations that you are attending one of our workshops in order to be included in our room-block.

How do I get a discounted rate at the hotel where the workshop is held?

I need your DUNS number in order to complete my paperwork for approvals. How do I get that?

Contact us and we will be happy to email or fax that information to you.

I need your W9/EIN number in order to complete my paperwork for approvals. How do I get that?

Contact us and we will be happy to email or fax that information to you.

How do I know that I have been registered for a workshop?

If you register online, we will email you an acknowledgement of your registration within 2 business days. You can always contact us with any questions or to verify our receipt of your registration.

I haven’t received my confirmation letter yet. What do I do?

We will send you a confirmation letter once we have received sufficient registrations to guarantee that we can hold the workshop.  If you have a question regarding this, please contact us and we will assist you personally.

The person who originally registered for the workshop can’t attend. Can I substitute another person to attend?

Absolutely. Just contact us with the name of the person registered and the name of the person attending instead. We’ll change the registration for you.
