This workshop can be a refresher for “veterans” and also provide valuable cross training information to other staff members in the Department.  The workshop agenda has been structured to cover Green Cleaning, Indoor Air Quality, and quality control procedures to make sure that the work environment is safe and comfortable for the building occupants.  Cleaning for the health of the building occupants is critical.  We will cover efficiency and consistency during the cleaning process.  Additionally, this workshop will cover problem-solving and specialized cleaning procedures.  There will be a great deal of group interaction during this workshop.

The workshop will offer some “hands-on” opportunities to learn about custodial maintenance under the supervision of our knowledgeable workshop leader, who has owned and operated a custodial business in the private sector for many years.  Workshop participants will receive a detailed custodial workbook to use during the training, which will be theirs to keep for future reference on the job.  TSA certificates will be presented to all who attend this training.
